In the interest of generating some actual activity among the few readers of this blog (I know you are out there!) I am posting this exercise in pure nerdery (sp?) for you all to ponder and partake in (just post your lists in the Comments section at the end of this post).
My good friend Ry tagged me on this one and basically this meme consists of posting a favorite album representing every year you have been alive. Now the purists may try and remember what they were actually listening to when they were two years old, but alas I cannot. So use albums by artists you still listen to or found influential later in life. This does take some time, but it is fun. Of course, good old Wikipedia helps out a ton! I see a Movie Meme in this blog’s future! (Oh, and I’m tagging Eric & Liz.)

I’m sorry, but I have to object to your 1994 album… doesn’t it HAVE to be Jeff Buckley’s “Grace”?!?!
I must make the same objection, but I know how much you love Vitology. Good list.
Drew & Dana! First, we are ever thankful for your faithfulness in leaving comments on our humble blog. It says something that you’ve been the first to comment on multiple posts – before our moms even
And second, believe me, we will attempt to do this meme; we have watched enough average movies this week out of boredom that a task like this is right up our alley. Hug Baby Johnson, who I’m sure is bigger than we can believe. -liz
Ann-yong!! We look forward to your meme(s)! I feel like such a blogging nerd using words like “meme”
Maren sends her love—we’ll have to send you a picture sometime.
OK, this isn’t a response to Music Meme, but it’s on the music topic…. I heard about this Nine-Minute Road Trip on NPR yesterday and got a kick out of it. 5 songs in 9 minutes to create an abbreviated road trip experience. It’s a fun, random soundtrack, made more entertaining by reading Stephen Thompson’s explanation for each selection:

If nothing else, it fits well into the category of: “I’m mildly bored, so I’ll check it out.” And if you’re still bored, you can take time to create your own Nine-Minute Road Trip!
